This series of pages is inspired by a good idea from Derek Sivers.
A website with a link that says ‘now’ goes to a page that tells you what this person is focused on at this point in their life.
Think of what you’d tell a friend you hadn’t seen in a year.
“Any time I’m in something that kind of feels useful or fun, but isn’t clearly aligned with my bigger goals, I pull up my now page and ask ‘Is it on there? Should I add it?’ Most of the time the answer is no, and I move on. Sometimes it’s yes, and when it is, at least it’s an intentional priority shift.” — Gregory Brown

My Version#
I’ve been writing down what I’m up to at my previous generations of blogs
- livejournal,
- blogspot,
- WordPress,
- Social Networks,
and it was mostly an updatable About page.
I like the idea of NowNowNow, so I extracted this info for the sake of history.
I’m planning to keep the About page mostly static, and Now page dynamic.
Also, checkout my news project, it has a similar vibe, but a slightly different goal and meaning.
- You can subscribe to it, it’s the only project I won’t post often. I think a couple of super short news a month at best. I’m not too newsworthy, you know.
