List of My Blogs

Since I have some free time before I’d join another team for a full-time work-adventures, I’d decided to finish the long-term project of dissecting this blog into other blogs. The motivation is to keep this blog quite focused on work-related topics, while keeping other blogs for, well, other topics.

What is a blog?

This blog is the ‘official’ one of mine. It’s the first place that you see when you explore this website. Although, I created some more blogs. The goal is to write on different topics that could be irrelevant for my digital persona. They’re about some other topics.

My attitude to my blogs is not that I want you to read them, but rather that I allow you to read them by publishing them. I’m not a ‘professional’ blogger. Meaning that’s not my profession, and I’m not getting paid by doing it. I write to clear my mind from the thoughts, by formulating them. That calms me down, and helps me learn things much better.

Long-term Blogs

Those are my projects that’ll take decades to develop. I’m commiting to a very long perspective with them.

• Parenting is my journey through the role of father.
  • I’m doing my best, but I’m aware that I’m far from being the best dad. It’s a hard full-time job. No weekends, no holidays, no rest, no nothing. Since there’s no opt-out, I’m learning how to survive parenting and be at least not-so-bad dad for my kids.
• Nutrition is for eating healthy.
• Fitness is for trying to get fit back again.
• Household is a copy of the original website that we use at home. It is for publically demonstrating how much easier it is to manage the place of living with the modern tools.
  • We have a private local website for that. Plus some in-house-brewed apps/scripts for automation. But since it’s all private, this is a stripped copy.
  • I have plans to re-write the in-house app for the more broad public, one day.

Raw Blogs

Those are experimental projects, I call them ‘raw’. They may cease to exist at some point, if I’ll see that I no longer need them.

• Random Raw Thoughts is where I post some random thoughts of mine. It’s the minuscule version of this blog for less developed topics, those I’d like to not spam my blog with. Some thoughts start there and develop into their special story here in this blog. Best served from smartphone.
• Bits is a similar project, but not necessarily thoughts. Best served from smartphone.
• Today I Learned is more like an online-notebook where I offload some things before I’ll work on them in other blogs (if ever)
• Links the hoards of links. It’s mostly rubbish. But I like the idea of it, it works very well for me as a mean of managing piles of links.
• Watch and might watch are the projects for the things we watch with my wife, or things we might watch. Sometimes there are things I watch or might watch solo. But most times I’m not too eager to watch things.
• Very similar project for the books I read or might read.
  • Localhosted and not deployed yet.

Art Blogs

• Imagine is the project that tries to stimulate imagination skill of mine.
• Portfolio is for some visual aesthetics portfolio of mine.
• Photos is the conceptual project of my photos that I accumulated in my social medias. There you can explore all of them.

Others

#

• War of Benderz is my living-through-the-war (the ruzzian war on Ukraine) blog.
  • The thing is, I live in Ukraine now, and I’ve been here for 3 years prior to the full-scale invasion of Russia, since 2019. I never left the country since then, and I hope I’ll leave it when I want to, not when I’m forced to.
  • I’ve started blogging privately for my friends, so they’ll know if I’m still alive. As I’ve survived the first years of full-scale war, I have some chances to continue doing so. I hope so. Hence, I think the blog could be interesting for a wider audience.
• Sometimes I write for Walter, he’s my virtual friend. He loves computers, operating systems and other computerish stuff.

As of Late 2024, all of the blogs are made with Hugo and different themes, most of them being stripped-down and hugely modified. I’ll publish them as soon as I’d get my hands on making the code cleaner.
